October 6, 2025: Aberdeen, NJ 07747 Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting New Egypt Warriors (New Egypt, NJ), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Matawan Regional moves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Huskies host Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ) to meet the Hornets in a Shore A - Central test on Saturday, October 11. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 6-3.
The Warriors now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lakewood for a non-league test on Friday, October 10. New Egypt will meet a Piners team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ). The Piners record now stands at 1-11.
