Iowa High School Football - Ballard felled by North Polk
October 7, 2022: Alleman, IA 50007 In Friday's league game, the North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) football team were victorious over the visiting Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA), by a score of 42-13.
The Comets (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Gilbert (Gilbert, IA). The Tigers come into the 3A District 2 game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Gilbert was knocked off by Humboldt (Humboldt, IA), 31-6, in a league game.
The Bombers now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Algona for a 3A District 2 game on Friday, October 14. Ballard will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 38-14 league loss to Nevada (Nevada, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
