New York High School Football - Walt Whitman tops Ward Melville
October 8, 2024: East Setauket, NY 11733 The Walt Whitman Wildcats football squad scored 38 points and limited the host Ward Melville Patriots to 13 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sachem North for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15.
With the defeat, Ward Melville drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Riverhead (Riverhead, NY) to meet the Blue Waves in a non-league test on Monday, October 21. The Blue Waves come into the test with a record of 0-0.
