The Central Valley Cougars (Greeley, NE) volleyball knocked off the host Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Milford for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 11. Central Valley will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over York (York, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 18-1.
