October 1, 2022: Ojai, CA 93023 The Villanova Prep Wildcats (Ojai, CA) football edged the visiting Avalon Lancers (Avalon, CA), 42-36 in Saturday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Rolling Hills Prep Huskies (San Pedro, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 8. Villanova Prep will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Huskies enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 56-26 non-league win over Animo Robinson (Los Angeles, CA).
The Lancers (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Santa Clara (Oxnard, CA). The Saints enter the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Santa Clara was nudged by Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA), 63-36, in a non-league bout.
