Saint Joseph Jesters (Lakewood, CA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football squad thwart the host Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA), 36-6 in a league match.

The Jesters (16-1) will now prepare for their match against Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Sailors come into the non-league match with a 19-2 record. In their last match, Newport Harbor defeated Edison (Huntington Beach, CA), 27-7, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Cavaliers meet the St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) in a match, on Monday, October 6. Serra will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record.
