North Carolina High School Volleyball - Sun Valley tips Charlotte Catholic
October 10, 2022: Monroe, NC 28110 The Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) volleyball held off the visiting Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC), 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Spartans now have a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cuthbertson for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 11. Sun Valley will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 11-5.
The Cougars (5-5) will now prepare for their test against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, East Mecklenburg was nudged by Independence (Charlotte, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.
