The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Reagan County Owls (Big Lake, TX) and the visiting Ozona Lions (Ozona, TX), witnessed Reagan County's football squad knock off Ozona by a tally of 44-28.

The Owls (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Christoval (Christoval, TX). The Cougars enter the 2A-1 Region I District 3 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Christoval gained a win over Colorado (Colorado City, TX), 42-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Lions confront the Sonora Broncos (Sonora, TX) in a 2A-1 Region I District 3 contest, on Friday, October 18. Ozona will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Broncos enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 52-0 league win over Forsan (Forsan, TX).
