October 10, 2024: Flint Hill, VA 22640 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Wakefield Country Day Owls (Flint Hill, VA) and the visiting Tandem Friends Badgers (Charlottesville, VA), saw Wakefield Country Day's soccer squad knock off Tandem Friends by a count of 3-0.
The Owls (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Massanutten Military Academy (Woodstock, VA). The Colonels enter the battle with a 0-3 record.
Next up, the Badgers battle the Stuart Hall Dragons (Staunton, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 14. Tandem Friends will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Dragons enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA).
