The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Aquinas Falcons (San Bernardino, CA) and the host Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA), observed Aquinas's football squad smash Valley Christian by a count of 40-6.

The Falcons (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA). The Warriors come into the Ironwood match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Heritage Christian routed Ontario Christian (Ontario, CA), 40-8, in a league battle.

The Defenders now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Village Christian for a Ironwood battle on Friday, October 17. Valley Christian will play a Crusaders team coming off a 44-21 league win over Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-3.
