The Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles football squad scored 29 points and limited the host Boone Grove Wolves to 8 in the Fighting Eagles league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Fighting Eagles face the River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 17. Lake Station Edison will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Ingots enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 55-17 non-league loss to Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN).

The Wolves (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN). The Warriors enter the Greater South Shore - North challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Hammond Bishop Noll lost by Gary West Side (Gary, IN), 36-6, in a non-league challenge.
