New York High School Football - Watertown defeated by Carthage
October 10, 2025: Carthage, NY 13619 The Carthage Comets were victorious over the visiting Watertown Cyclones football team by a score of 48-19 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Comets face the Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets (Manlius, NY) in a Section 3 A - National outing, on Friday, October 17. Carthage will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 2-4 record after their 49-8 league win over Nottingham (Syracuse, NY).
The Cyclones (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Whitesboro (Marcy, NY). The Warriors enter the Section 3 A - National game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Whitesboro ran past Henninger (Syracuse, NY), 43-22, in a league game.
