The Ponderosa Bruins football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Christian Brothers Falcons to 28 in the Bruins league triumph on Friday.

The Bruins now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Rio Americano for a Capital Valley Conference test on Friday, October 17. Ponderosa will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 35-28 league win over Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Christian Brothers drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA) to face the Broncos in a Capital Valley Conference challenge on Friday, October 17.
