Maryland High School Football - Dunbar smashes City College

October 10, 2025: Baltimore, MD 21231

The Dunbar Poets (Baltimore, MD) football trounced the visiting City College Black Knights (Baltimore, MD), 54-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Poets now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mergenthaler Vo-Tech for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 18. Dunbar will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 42-14 non-league win over City College (Baltimore, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, City College drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Black knights travel to Digital Harbor (Baltimore, MD) to clash with the Rams in a Class 4A3A North outing on Friday, October 17. The Rams come into the outing with a record of 3-3. Digital Harbor lost 28-6 in their recent non-league outing against Forest Park (Baltimore, MD)
