The Clearwater Tornadoes (Clearwater, FL) football trounced the host River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL), 46-7 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Tornadoes face the East Lake Eagles (Tarpon Springs, FL) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 17. Clearwater will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 35-24 league win over Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, FL).

The Royal Knights (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Gulf (New Port Richey, FL). The Buccaneers enter the 4A District 10 game with a 4-3 record.
