Rhode Island High School Football - East Greenwich tops Pilgrim

October 10, 2025: Warwick, RI 02888

The East Greenwich Avengers football squad scored 26 points and limited the host Pilgrim Patriots to 7 in the Avengers league triumph on Friday.

The Avengers now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnston for a Division III test on Friday, October 17. East Greenwich will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 36-26 non-league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Panthers record now stands at 5-1.

With the defeat, Pilgrim drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Classical (Providence, RI) to meet the Purple in a Division III challenge on Saturday, October 18. The Purple go into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Classical won 35-7 in their recent league challenge against East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI)
