Pennsylvania High School Football - General McLane tops Meadville

October 10, 2025: Meadville, PA 16335

The General McLane Lancers football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Meadville Bulldogs to 20 in the Lancers league triumph on Friday.

The Lancers now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cathedral Prep for a non-league test on Friday, October 17. General McLane will meet a Ramblers squad coming off a 53-23 non-league loss to Benedictine (Cleveland, OH). The Ramblers record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Meadville drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Warren (Warren, PA) to face the Dragons in a District 10 Region 6 challenge on Friday, October 17. The Dragons go into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Warren lost 60-7 in their recent league challenge against Oil City (Oil City, PA)
