The Grand Island Islanders football team (Grand Island, NE), dropped 27-13 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Lincoln North Star Navigators (Lincoln, NE)

With the win, Lincoln North Star advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Navigators host Millard West (Omaha, NE) to encounter the Wildcats in a A District 6 bout on Friday, October 17. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Millard West won 62-0 in their recent league battle against Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE)

The Islanders now hold a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellevue East for a A District 6 match on Thursday, October 16. Grand Island will confront a Chieftains squad coming off a 41-0 league loss to Westview (Omaha, NE). The Chieftains record now stands at 1-6.
