The Heritage Patriots (Monroeville, IN) football trounced the host Southern Wells Raiders (Poneto, IN), 42-7 in Friday's league outing.

The Patriots now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jay County for a Allen County outing on Friday, October 17. Heritage will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 42-14 non-league loss to Lapel (Lapel, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Southern Wells falls to 2-6 on the year. The Raiders travel to South Adams (Berne, IN) to battle the Starfires in a Allen County game on Friday, October 17. The Starfires enter the game with a record of 5-3. South Adams won 51-14 in their recent league game against Woodlan (Woodburn, IN)
