The Hillsborough Terriers football team (Tampa, FL), dropped 24-7 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Sumner Stingrays (Riverview, FL)

With the win, Sumner advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Stingrays travel to Strawberry Crest (Dover, FL) to encounter the Chargers in a 7A District 7 bout on Friday, October 17. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Strawberry Crest lost 37-13 in their recent league bout against Plant City (Plant City, FL)

The Terriers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Blake for a 4A District 9 bout on Friday, October 17. Hillsborough will battle a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 57-0 league win over Brandon (Brandon, FL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 5-3.
