Texas High School Football - Huntsville overwhelmed by Montgomery

In Friday's league game, the Montgomery Bears (Montgomery, TX) football team triumphed over the host Huntsville Hornets (Huntsville, TX), by a tally of 54-20.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Splendora Wildcats (Splendora, TX) in a 5A-2 Region II District 8 game, on Thursday, October 16. Montgomery will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 2-4 record after their 48-6 league loss to Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX).

The Hornets (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Dayton (Dayton, TX). The Broncos enter the 5A-2 Region II District 8 outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Dayton was overwhelmed by Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX), 50-26, in a league outing.
