The Millard North Mustangs football team (Omaha, NE), was tipped 31-28 in Friday's league bout with the host Kearney Bearcats (Kearney, NE)

With the win, Kearney advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Columbus (Columbus, NE) to play the Discoverers in a A District 3 battle on Friday, October 17. The Discoverers go into the battle with a record of 6-1. Columbus won 28-21 in their recent league battle against Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE)

The Mustangs now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Omaha Central for a non-league test on Friday, October 17. Millard North will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 34-17 league win over Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
