In Friday's league match, the host Quartz Hill Royals football squad scored a good 41-12 victory over the Knight Hawks.

The Royals (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Eastside (Lancaster, CA). The Lions enter the Golden match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Eastside was beaten by Highland (Palmdale, CA), 49-6, in a league battle.

The Hawks now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Lancaster for a Golden battle on Thursday, October 16. Knight will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 54-0 league win over Littlerock (Littlerock, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
