New York High School Football - Pioneer crushes Lewiston-Porter
October 10, 2025: Youngstown, NY 14174 Pioneer Panthers (Yorkshire, NY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Lewiston-Porter Lancers (Youngstown, NY), 42-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Pioneer improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host South Park (Buffalo, NY) to meet the Sparks in a Section 6 B - 2 challenge on Friday, October 17. The Sparks go into the challenge with a record of 3-3. South Park lost 26-13 in their recent league challenge against West Seneca East (West Seneca, NY)
The Lancers (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Cheektowaga (Cheektowaga, NY). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Cheektowaga was ripped by Starpoint (Lockport, NY), 41-6, in a non-league challenge.
