The Madison Dragons ran past the visiting Twin River Titans football squad by a margin of 52-26 in Friday's league test.

The Dragons now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newman Grove/St. Edward for a D1 District 5 (8 Man) challenge on Thursday, October 16. Madison will face a Panthers team coming off a 66-18 league win over Clarkson/Leigh (Clarkson, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Twin River drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Humphrey-Lindsay (Humphrey, NE) to clash with the Bulldogs in a D1 District 5 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 17. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-4. Humphrey-Lindsay lost 78-30 in their recent league game against David City (David City, NE)
