In Friday's league game, the Ozark Hillbillies (Ozark, AR) football team overcame the host Mena Bearcats (Mena, AR), by a tally of 36-28.

In their next game, the Hillbillies battle the Pottsville Apaches (Pottsville, AR) in a 4A Region 4 outing, on Friday, October 17. Ozark will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Apaches come into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 46-12 league win over Waldron (Waldron, AR).

With the defeat, Mena drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Waldron (Waldron, AR) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 4A Region 4 outing on Friday, October 17.
