Ozona Lions (Ozona, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Reagan County Owls (Big Lake, TX), 94-16 in a league battle.

With the win, Ozona advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Sonora (Sonora, TX) to play the Broncos in a 2A-1 Region I District 3 battle on Friday, October 17. The Broncos go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Sonora won 42-8 in their recent league battle against Forsan (Forsan, TX)

The Owls now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Christoval for a 2A-1 Region I District 3 match on Friday, October 17. Reagan County will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 15-6 league win over Colorado (Colorado City, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.
