Wilcox Chargers (Santa Clara, CA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA), 49-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Wilcox upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a Peninsula - Bay match on Friday, October 17. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 3-3. Los Gatos won 47-0 in their recent league battle against Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA)

The Vikings now have a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Menlo School for a Peninsula - Bay battle on Friday, October 17. Palo Alto will play a Knights team coming off a 37-7 league win over Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA). The Knights record now stands at 6-0.
