Kentucky High School Football - Perry County Central smashes Whitley County
October 10, 2025: Hazard, KY 41701 The Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY) football trounced the visiting Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY), 42-6 in Friday's league outing.
The Commodores now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harlan County for a 4A District 8 outing on Friday, October 17. Perry County Central will clash with a Black Bears squad coming off a 53-6 league loss to Corbin (Corbin, KY). The Black Bears record now stands at 4-3.
With the defeat, Whitley County drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Corbin (Corbin, KY) to clash with the Redhounds in a 4A District 8 contest on Friday, October 17. The Redhounds go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Corbin won 53-6 in their recent league bout against Harlan County (Harlan, KY)
