The Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) football tipped the host Saranac Lake Red Storm (Saranac Lake, NY), 27-23 in Friday's league outing.

The Nighthawks now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to AuSable Valley for a Section 7 outing on Friday, October 17. Peru will battle a Patriots team coming off a 42-22 league win over Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 2-4.
