Rensselaer Central Bombers (Rensselaer, IN) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad smash the host River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN), 55-17 in a non-league match.

The Bombers (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Logansport (Logansport, IN). The Berries come into the non-league match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Logansport was routed by Western (Russiaville, IN), 35-34, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Ingots confront the Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles (Lake Station, IN) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 17. River Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Fighting Eagles come into the match with a 6-2 record after their 29-8 league win over Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN).
