Georgia High School Football - River Ridge thwarted by Sprayberry

October 10, 2025: Woodstock, GA 30188

Sprayberry Yellow Jackets (Marietta, GA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA), 28-10 in a league battle.

With the win, Sprayberry improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Lassiter (Marietta, GA) to play the Trojans in a AAAAA Region 6 battle on Friday, October 24. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 5-3. Lassiter won 30-0 in their recent league battle against Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA)

With the defeat, River Ridge drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Creekview (Canton, GA) to meet the Grizzlies in a AAAAA Region 6 test on Friday, October 24. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 4-4. Creekview won 42-14 in their recent league test against Pope (Marietta, GA)
