Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), 41-22 in a league battle.

With the win, Triton advances its record to 3-4 on the season. The Hawks travel to Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to encounter the Vikings in a Carolina Pines 6A battle on Friday, October 17. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 6-1. Union Pines won 45-13 in their recent league match against Southern Lee (Sanford, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) in a Carolina Pines 6A battle, on Friday, October 17. Western Harnett will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Trojans go into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 35-14 league win over Lee County (Sanford, NC).
