The McCool Junction Mustangs football squad scored 58 points and limited the host Centennial Broncos to 34 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shelby-Rising City for a D1 District 6 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 18. McCool Junction will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 52-6 league win over Mead (Mead, NE). The Huskies record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Centennial drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to East Butler (Brainard, NE) to meet the Tigers in a D1 District 6 (8 Man) test on Thursday, October 17. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-2. East Butler won 62-24 in their recent league test against Heartland (Henderson, NE)
