The Collinsville Pirates walloped the host Chico Dragons football team by a score of 44-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Lindsay Knights (Lindsay, TX) in a 2A-2 Region II District 8 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Collinsville will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 44-0 league loss to Muenster (Muenster, TX).

The Dragons (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Santo (Santo, TX). The Wildcats go into the 2A-2 Region II District 8 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Santo was ripped by Era (Era, TX), 28-16, in a league challenge.
