The Culver City Centaurs football team (Culver City, CA), dropped 56-34 in Friday's league challenge with the host Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA)

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA) in a Bay challenge, on Friday, October 18. Mira Costa will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Sentinels enter the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 42-0 league win over Lawndale (Lawndale, CA).

The Centaurs (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA). The Olympians enter the Bay challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Leuzinger fell by Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA), 21-14, in a league challenge.
