The Catholic Central Crusaders football team (Steubenville, OH), was tipped 27-20 in Saturday's non-league bout with the host Harding Skippers (Fairport Harbor, OH)

With the victory, Harding betters its record to 7-0 on the year. The Skippers travel to St. John (Ashtabula, OH) to battle the Fighting Herald in a Northeastern contest on Saturday, October 18. The Fighting Herald enter the contest with a record of 4-4. St. John won 35-0 in their recent league contest against Mathews (Vienna, OH)

Coming up next, the Crusaders battle the Conotton Valley Rockets (Bowerston, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 17. Catholic Central will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 34-15 non-league win over Crestline (Crestline, OH).
