In Thursday's league game, the Carver Montgomery Wolverines (Montgomery, AL) football team knocked off the visiting Wetumpka Indians (Wetumpka, AL), by a final score of 38-7.

The Wolverines (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Lanier (Montgomery, AL). The Poets come into the 6A Region 2 game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Lanier toppled Stanhope Elmore (Millbrook, AL), 32-24, in a league game.

The Indians now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lanier for a 6A Region 2 game on Thursday, October 26.
