Maryland High School Football - Great Mills trounces La Plata
October 13, 2025: La Plata, MD 20646 In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Great Mills Hornets football squad scored a decisive 48-0 win over the La Plata Warriors.
In their next game, the Hornets play the Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 1. Great Mills will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
The Warriors (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last test, North Point was routed by Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD), 17-8, in a non-league test.
