October 14, 2021: Charleston, WV 25311 Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Charleston Catholic Irish (Charleston, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 16. Capital will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Irish enter the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Nicholas County (Summersville, WV).
The Vikings now have a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Huntington for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 16. Ripley will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 11-3 non-league win over St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV). The Highlanders record now stands at 10-8.
