Coahoma County Red Panthers (Clarksdale, MS) followers were thrilled Friday as they witnessed their football squad achieve victory over the visiting Palmer Dragons (Marks, MS), 24-0 in a league battle.

The Red Panthers now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarksdale for a non-league battle on Friday, October 21. Coahoma County will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 56-14 league win over Yazoo City (Yazoo City, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-2.

Coming up next, the Dragons play the Charleston Tigers (Charleston, MS) in a 2A Region 3 battle, on Friday, October 21. Palmer will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 38-7 league win over Strayhorn (Sarah, MS).
