In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Lincoln Northeast Rockets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Grand Island Islanders.

The Rockets (11-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Burke (Omaha, NE). The Bulldogs come into the A District challenge with a 9-18 record. In their last challenge, Burke gained a win over Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE), 3-0, in a league test.

The Islanders now sport a 8-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln North Star for a A District test on Thursday, October 16. Grand Island will face a Navigators squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE). The Navigators record now stands at 24-4.
