Texas High School Football - Miles overwhelms Junction

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Miles Bulldogs (Miles, TX) and the host Junction Eagles (Junction, TX), observed Miles's football squad bounce Junction by a count of 49-7.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Menard for a 2A-2 Region IV District 14 match on Friday, October 22. Miles will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 53-0 league loss to Christoval (Christoval, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-5.

The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX). The Angoras enter the 2A-2 Region IV District 14 match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Rocksprings was crushed by Eldorado (Eldorado, TX), 53-6, in a league match.
