The St. Thomas More Chancellors football team (Oakdale, CT), was knocked off 24-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host IMG Academy Ascenders (Bradenton, FL)

The Ascenders (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL). The Flyers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, East St. Louis knocked off Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL), 58-0, in a league challenge.

The Chancellors now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Non Varsity Opponent for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 30.
