Oregon High School Football - Mountain View drops to Summit

In Saturday's league game, the Summit Storm (Bend, OR) football team knocked off the visiting Mountain View Cougars (Bend, OR), by a final score of 34-17.

The Storm (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Crater (Central Point, OR). The Comets come into the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Crater was dropped by Thurston (Springfield, OR), 9-0, in a league game.

The Cougars now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to McNary for a 6A Special District 6 game on Friday, October 22. Mountain View will battle a Celtics team coming off a 34-27 league loss to West Salem (Salem, OR). The Celtics record now stands at 5-2.
