Spectators at Thursday's non-league bout between the Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD) and the visiting Wicomico Indians (Salisbury, MD), saw Kent Island's football team nip Wicomico by a final score of 24-23.

With the win, Kent Island advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Decatur (Berlin, MD) to encounter the Seahawks in a non-league bout on Friday, October 24. The Seahawks go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Decatur won 28-25 in their recent non-league contest against Easton (Easton, MD)

Coming up next, the Indians confront the Easton Warriors (Easton, MD) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 23. Wicomico will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 5-2 record after their 28-25 non-league loss to Decatur (Berlin, MD).
