In Thursday's league match, the host Wylie East Raiders football squad scored a good 44-15 triumph over the Naaman Forest Rangers.

The Raiders (7-0) will now prepare for their match against Rowlett (Rowlett, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region II District 9 match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Rowlett prevailed over Lakeview Centennial (Garland, TX), 17-7, in a league battle.

The Rangers now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they host North Garland for a 6A Region II District 9 battle on Friday, October 24. Naaman Forest will play a Raiders squad coming off a 34-10 league win over South Garland (Garland, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 1-6.
