North Carolina High School Football - Maiden sneaks past Bandys
October 16, 2025: Maiden, NC 28650 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Maiden Blue Devils football squad scored a tight 34-33 win over the Bandys Trojans.
In their next game, the Blue Devils play the East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 23. Maiden will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 28-6 non-league loss to Hickory (Hickory, NC).
The Trojans (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, West Iredell was nipped by Newton-Conover (Newton, NC), 43-8, in a non-league test.
