Virginia High School Football - Floyd County falls to Carroll County
October 16, 2025: Hillsville, VA 24343 The Carroll County Cavaliers ran past the visiting Floyd County Buffaloes football squad by a margin of 21-7 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Radford for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 22. Carroll County will face a Bobcats team coming off a 22-7 non-league win over Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-2.
The Buffaloes (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, James River lost by Glenvar (Salem, VA), 36-0, in a non-league challenge.
