The Shelby-Rising City Huskies (Shelby, NE) volleyball knocked off the host Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Huskies now possess a 18-8 record. They play next when they travel to High Plains for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 18. Shelby-Rising City will clash with a Storm team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE). The Storm record now stands at 14-11.
